Fundraising
Do you like plants, herbs and flowers?  Doyle Library has the perfect solution for all your “growing” needs. We are hosting a Flower Power Fundraising event at the library.  All purchases provide 50 percent of the proceeds to our Summer Reading Program for the young people in our community! The plant and flower are very economically priced and fully guaranteed.  Feel free to stop by the library to place your order or go to www.FlowerPowerFundraising.com, then enter our Group, Doyle Public Library.  What a great way to beautify your garden, home or office and contribute to our young people!
Story Hour
Every third Saturday of the month, Doyle Public Library hosts Story Hour for children and young adults from 10 to 11 am.  Our next event will be held on April 16, 10-11 am, with the theme of “Growing Your Garden”.  Attendees will plant their own plants and decorate a plant holder for gift-giving.  We will also learn about how to create and maintain plants, herbs and flowers.
Book Club
Every second Monday of the month, we host a Book Club event from 5-6 pm, which includes discussions of interesting book titles and authors of all genres.  Our next Book Club will meet on May 9, 5-6 pm.  We will discuss The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.  We will order this month’s selection or the upcoming selection for our June 13 meeting, for you to read.  June’s selection is The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls.  Everyone is welcome!
All Doyle Public Library events feature great learning, sharing with friends, snacks and refreshments.
